Games

I have toddlers now, I'm certain of it. They've really developmentally exploded over the last month, which has been fascinating to watch! With the good and amazing things, also comes new challenges. Nope, being a parent still hasn't gotten easy. But I've already concluded that A. It never will, and B. That's fine, more personal growth for me! So today, I have compiled a list of the girls most recent favorite games. You may even be familiar with a few.....

The opposites game: Basically you win if you do the opposite of whatever mom tells you. Margot really loves this game! She also excels at telling me no or shaking her head, all while flashing that dazzling smile of hers in sweet defiance.

The guess what I just put in my mouth game: Mom gets bonus points if she can retrieve whatever foreign object you put in your mouth. Yeah, good luck with that one!

Keep away: Pretty self explanatory. Most often played just before a diaper change, having shoes put on, or having something you shouldn't have taken away.

Tornado: Another one of Margot's favorites! The number of points you collect is reflected by the magnitude of destruction you can inflict on any given area. Bonus points for higher volumes of mess/shorter time frame scenarios. This includes, but is not limited to: emptying dresser drawers, dumping out toys bins, destroying a single piece of mail that somehow found it's way into your child's clutches, any food that is presented to you, a rogue wipe container. You get the idea.

Surprise!!!: Oh this is a fun one, especially if you cloth diaper. You just successfully battled a clean diaper onto your beast of a child, only to find them hiding behind the couch moments later making cave man sounds and turning red in the face. Surprise! The poo gets a reprise!
